How do you get young children to run up a mountain at blinding speeds: pepper the trail with Easter eggs! Our good friends in the Adirondacks held a first annual family egg hunt/hike. It was a blast. We had lunch at the top and stayed for a while to explore. And that view! Well I'll just say it was pretty spectacular.
I promise they are not as perilously close to the edge as they seem. And really it wasn't that steep a drop.
